The Kansas City Wizards are proud to host a variety of camps in 2010. This will be a great opportunity for your young soccer player, as they will be taught by Wizards Coaching Staff, and have interaction with professional players and coaches. For the younger campers, there will be an appearance by Wizards mascot, Dynamo the Dragon.
Our camp will focus on all aspects soccer in various game-like situations. Each session will kick off with an interactive warm-up including speed and agility components as well as ball work. Then we will focus on the “topic of the day” which may be passing and receiving, shooting, defending, etc. The day will conclude with small-sided matches where teams will be assigned and compete against each other. Campers who attend camp at the Swope Training Facility will also be able to observe the Pros at training.
Each camper will receive: adidas t-shirt, team poster, autographs, ticket to a Wizards home match and an on-field graduation.
Please note: Graduation will take place at Community America Ballpark (CAB). All participates will be recognized at half time on the field of the Wizards match.
